Age 16 & up, we will train you on how to become a great mentor for kids.
Through a variety of hands-on weekly projects our successful and trained mentors work as a team to conduct activities in individual and group settings geared towards empowerment & educational learning topics.
Our mission is to ensure our children are equipped with the knowledge, skills and confidence to succeed in school, careers and life.
Our programs will provide much needed support as school time becomes increasingly stretched thin with the pressures of standardized testing, as families feel the strain of providing the basic necessities for their children and as communities deal with a challenging economic environment.
You can volunteer with us directly, even traveling to provide our needy children with materials and education, there's much you can do to lend a hand. Contact us to learn more about opportunities and ideas for donating, fundraising, hosting events, campaigning, buying gifts, and involving your school or company.

Approximately 16 percent of U.S. children ages 6-19 are overweight, and another 15 percent are at risk of becoming overweight. Children need to be able to refuel throughout the day to maintain energy and focus on academics.
We give our youth nutritious snacks and aspire to keep them physically fit and promote good health. Giving nutritional snacks is essential to creating good healthy eating habits and lifestyles for our youth.

SPREAD THE WORD
Because of the quality of our academic and enrichment programs, homework assistance and tutoring—and voiced above average satisfaction with the life skills and opportunities; our children gain from participation, specifically the promotion of workforce skills such as team work and critical thinking, access to technology, access to art and culture, and opportunities for community service.
Children that attend our high quality afterschool programs show improvements in better attendance, improved behavior and improved grades at school.
Since 2012, our 501(c)3 nonprofit Posimoto has connected disadvantaged youth to successful college students, role models, & staff who aspire to make a difference in kids lives.
Through weekly after-school activities at Posimoto, mentors show kids the importance of trying harder in school, knowing core values that can lead to success, and helping them understand higher education opportunities.
Role model mentors come out to teach and speak to our youth, while exposing them to opportunities that exist and will leverage their aspirations and goals.
In addition to making sure that our kids are kept safe, have supportive mentors they can turn to, and have healthy food to keep their energy and concentration levels up; the youth who participate in our quality afterschool, summercamps, and free Saturday enrichment programs see improvement in their academics, are more engaged in learning and are more self-confident in what they can achieve.
